My deceased wife had Alzheimer's disease and was cared for by goodlyfe care for over a year in our home. Their caregivers personality and warmth made my wife comfortable and calm. The caregivers used to hug my wife while sitting on the couch calming her with loving care. I have seen other caregivers from other agencies cold and distant relationship with the patient. Not goodlyfe care I cared for Emmanuella the owner of goodlyfe care so much that she was an extension of my family participating with us on Thanksgiving and Christmas at the dinner table. To this day we have a continuing family relationship. Her care for my wife and me is exemplified in her coming to the hospital to give me support the day my wife passed away. She has the strong African family values I see lacking in the United States in this industry that is so unique as I have observed from other caregivers during the course of my wife's illness. And not only that, the caregivers will do everything I’ll ask them, Just anything to make me feel good. Gives the best sponge bath I’ve ever had. Goodlyfe care LLC remains the best care Agency compared to other care agencies that i have contracted since the onset of my Parkinson disease.
